Chu-Jung and Emperor

For this week we had to make two characters. One was a warm-colored character that was unpleasant.

I wanted to revisit the old concept/story I worked on last year with Kirin and his Emperor. I envisioned how some Emperors would have rather frightening manifestations of their power. but never really had the time to think up new character concepts to go along with the story. This Emperor probably runs a very dark and violent kingdom.

And, of course, to go along and reinforce my belief that not a single original thought has ever entered into my brain, I was browsing around my favorite artists today and noticed Fyreant had originally painted a gorgeous series on spider-monsters. Yay for unconscious creative theft.
